"Cash Remington and the Missing Heiress" Review

This book by the amazing Celia Aaron is the first book in her Sexy Dreadfuls series. The story follows super sexy and super confident CIA agent Cash Remington. He's on a mission to save missing heiress Collette Stanford from a terrible fate. From the very first chapter I was sucked in. If you like action then this is your book! I felt as if I was there right along with Cash and Collette. I could feel the danger with Cash and the fear with Collette. Celia does yet another amazing job of making the reader feel as if they are there, in the middle of the action. I read this book in one sitting and am already wanting more. I highly recommend this book to Celia Aaron fans, as well as to new fans. Mr. Remington does not disappoint.

"Ace of Harts" Review

It's Monday, which means it's time for another review. This week I have chosen "Ace of Harts" by Dani Rene. This story follows Emily Reid as she makes her way to the big apple to start her life over. Running from her past, she runs right into her dream job and her dream man. Triston Hart, all around hottie and her new boss. After months of dancing around each other they finally get together. Throw in a man from her past and Triston's equally hot brother Bash and you have the recipe for a book that is hot as hell! 

From the first page Dani had me. She sucks you into her story of love and betrayal. I cannot remember the last time I was hooked from the first page of a book. If life hadn't gotten in the way I would have read this one straight through. If you like sexy love triangles that include two hot brothers, then this one is for you. As soon as I was finished, I immediately wanted to read the rest of her books. She is an author that I have added to my list and I would not be surprised if we all saw great things from her in the future!

"Blackmailing the Virgin" Review

 I compare finally getting my hands on the new Alexa Riley book to coming downstairs on Christmas morning. The waiting is the hardest part. Lucky for us, her releases come early a lot of the time. Which is pretty much the only example of a time when I don't mind something coming early. Like usual when her books come out I stop whatever I'm doing in order to fall back into her alpha-sex crazed web. "Blackmailing the Virgin" was of course no exception. The second book in the An Alexa Riley Promise series, following April's release of "Mr. and Mrs". And in true Ms. Riley fashion, no cheating and always a happy ending. 

This story follows a young musician named Felicity who falls insta-hard for Calder Cox, who just happens to be her fathers business partner. Mr. Cox is everything we could want in an Alpha man: obsessed, dominant and did I mention sexy as sin? The thing I like most about Alexa's books is the insta-love that the main characters share. They are committed to each other and share a deep connection, even if admitting it takes a little longer. The NO CHEATING rule is a big one for me. In a lot of the other books I read the alpha man professes undying love for the heroine, but ends up sleeping with another woman. I think to myself, how can that be if he LOVES her? In this story and her others we don't have to worry about all of that. 

I also love how this series is a throw back to the romance novels of yesteryear. Complete with the cheesy over-the-top tropes that one would come to expect in your momma's romance novels. I feel a sense of nostalgia when reading this series that I only ever remember from when I was younger and wanted to know what my momma found so interesting in all of the books she was always reading. This second installment in the series hits the nail on the head for me. I loved it from start to finish and my only complaint would be that it was over before I knew it. I do love a good blackmail story! 

Never fear though ladies, and maybe some gentleman, I have it on good authority that Alexa has another release this month. "Finding Snow" comes out on May 25th, 2016. Pack your winter gear cause we're heading back to Gray Ridge to find us a bear! Get up to speed now by reading the first three books.

Don't be shy, I love to chat about books and sexy men so lets talk. To break the ice I would like to share my top five favorite books staring some of the hottest men to grace the pages of my Kindle.

1.

This four-part series from Alexa Riley is one of my favorite stories, from one of my favorite authors. Its Alpha, Carter, is denied his woman for too long and has become obsessed with claiming her as soon as he is released from jail. Besides the panty melting sex scenes, I also love that is actually has a really good story. As much as I love just reading about sex, I also want to read something that actually makes sense. Alexa Riley is one of my favs cause of her motto: No cheating and always a HEA. This is a must read for any fans of Alexa.

Another Alexa Riley story is that of "Their Stepsister". I read a lot of romance stories and out of everything I've ever read if I could be one woman in a story it would be Sarah from this book. If the taboo is your thing this book is for you. It's about a young woman who finds herself in the middle of a sexy stepbrother sandwich. Twins Luke and Logan are done waiting to find their HEA with their stepsister Sarah and are ready to stake their claim. I've read this one at least ten times and it never disappoints. Hoping that Alexa does another Stepbrother story in the future.

What can I say about Izzy Sweet's Stepbrother Catfish series?? Three words: HOT AS HELL. I absolutely loved this story! It's another one that I have read several times and that I leave on my Kindle so that I can read it again from time to time. It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Stepbrother wants stepsister but has to "catfish" her to get what he wants. Hailey and AJ are awesome together. This is a must read if you have a stepbrother kink like me.

4.

"Promise" by Dani Wyatt is another of my must reads. I love this story because it is so original. Promise is unlike any heroine I have ever read and Beckett is a sexy ass SEAL that knows what he wants. I always love when the guy is obsessed with the girl. This book is part of a series so we will be getting more in the future. So excited.

5.

Finally what list of romance books would be complete without a werewolf story. The "Alpha Contender" series by Terry Bolryder is a must for shifter fans. It follows Misty, a werewolf but doesn't know it, on the path to a mate. The way is paved with sexy wolves vying for her attentions. Kind of like the Bachelor but for werewolves. This story is one of my favorite werewolf stories.
